WINE
&
LANCASHIRE CHEESE TASTING

Maureen will don her Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Educator's hat to present five specially selected wines from around the world – red, white, and rosé – each expertly paired with a cheese made right here in Lancashire.

She will show you how to taste the wines, paying attention to the aroma, the swirl, the flavours, the body, the feel in the mouth, and the finish.

Then, you’ll be able to see how the flavours develop and change on the palate, after a nibble of delicious cheese.

No previous experience is necessary – just come along and enjoy!

TALK

Join me for this FREE talk to discover what plants are best for bees, butterflies, moths, and other insect pollinators.

I will share my knowledge, address frequently asked questions, and then you’ll have the opportunity to ask me anything you’d like about plants for pollinators that hasn’t already been covered.

In the last half an hour, we will have an optional meander around the Nursery, to look our for popular pollinator plants.

You will also have the opportunity to purchase a signed copy of my latest book The Little Book of Plants for Pollinators: A Gardener’s Guide.

To book your place please go to Holden Clough's website  www.holdenclough.com/events/plant-pollinators
